PROFIBUS CONNECTIVITY FOR SOLID-STATE VISCOSITY SENSORS

In-line, real-time viscosity and temperature measurements can now be acquired by Profibus control systems using BiODE’s ViscProfi connectivity module. ViscProfi connectivity modules are available in two versions. One supports up to four BiODE ViSmart viscosity sensors, the other supports eight. The module helps users make use of the Decentralized Peripheral, or DP, protocol’s design for fast data exchange.
