ASCO has extended CSA-GAS Certification for its range of Automatic Safety Shut-off valves to include dc power constructions in the range of 6 to 240 V. Two models are available; series 8215 for Z21.21 (6.5) automatic valve requirements and series 8214 for C/I (3.9) safety shutoff valve requirements.
Available in pipe sizes of 3/8 to 2 in. NPT, the two way, NO valves are typically used as the main gas shutoff valve in commercial or industrial burners, auxiliary power generators and mobile applications. Two 1/8 in. NPT Upstream/Downstream pipe taps with plugs are provided as a standard feature on ASCO 8214 series valves.
