DPN WEB EXCLUSIVE: J.W. Winco, Inc. has announced metric size side thrust pins and eccentric bushings. The spring loaded side thrust pins are said to be versatile and practical components for holding, positioning, and clamping of workpieces, and are cost-effective, space saving, and easy to install.

The knurled aluminum body
requires a hole tolerance of H8. Thrust pins are available in zinc-plated
hardened steel or Delrin plastic. Versions with NBR/perbunan rubber seal, used
in applications involving fluid or liquid, are gold passivated; those without
seal are silver passivated. Thrust springs are available in light, standard or
heavy-duty end pressures. The eccentric bushings are made of steel with a black
oxide finish. Use of this component facilitates the adjustment of side thrust
pins, as the spring-loaded locating pin can be precisely located to suit the
tolerance of the workpiece.
