Integrator to rep Tompkin’s robotic t-Sort system to manufacturing, 3PL and retail industries.

Autonomous mobile robot (AMRs) maker, Tompkins Robotics, announced it will partner with PULSE Integration to deliver its t-Sort solution. As part of the alliance, PULSE will offer Tompkins Robotics’ t-Sort systems to clients in the manufacturing, 3PL and retail industries.

Designed for small to large distribution operations, t-Sort is a portable, scalable robotic sortation system that operates similar to a tilt tray sorter without a fixed track. Instead, the small robots move freely to any divert or induction station along the shortest path. Capable of handling parcels and units up to 66 pounds, the system is fully modular; additional robots can be added or removed without interruption or downtime.

“We are excited to partner with PULSE Integration and help support their mission to provide clients with technology solutions that are capable of adapting and scaling to meet constantly evolving consumer and supply requirements,” said Mike Futch, president of Tompkins Robotics.

According to Tompkins Robotics, its award-winning t-Sort system is used by some of the world’s top retailers and shippers, which together represent more than $1 trillion in annual revenue and include retail, e-commerce, 3PL, and package and postal channels.
