General industrial design OEM R&D

D&V Electronics' commitment to R&D and user-centric industrial design drives the automotive test equipment company's continued growth.

The company has also benefited from the well-trained multi-cultural labour force in the region. An immigrant himself, Voiko Loukanov is keen to provide employment opportunities for new immigrants to the GTA who have the skills and talent relevant to his industry.

Future Plans
It’s not surprising that the company’s current new product development focus is on testing equipment for hybrid vehicles. This is an area of innovation well suited to the creative technology team at D&V as well as to the preoccupations of its major customers. Loukanov believes North American automotive companies should be playing a leading role in advancing this technology.

"Most of the hybrid technology was originally developed in North America" he pointed out, "and now is the time for the industry to invest in new things."
