
Genivar buys industrial automation firm

General engineering genivarISAC deal adds 40 people to Genivar's previous Dakins Engineering acquisition.
MONTREAL — Engineering consulting firm Genivar Inc. said Wednesday it has bought Isaction Inc. (ISAC), a Quebec-based company specialized in industrial automation. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Genivar said the deal adds 40 people and complements its acquisition of Ontario-based Dakins Engineering Group Ltd. in July.
Dakins specialized in instrumentation control and automation systems for water and wastewater management.
Genivar is one of Canada’s largest engineering firms with more than 4,500 employees working in Canada and around the world.
