Fortify has expanded its FLUX 3D printer series to include two printers: The FLUX CORE and FLUX 3D. All Fortify 3D printers employ the company’s Continuous Kinetic Mixing (CKM) that allows the printing of heavily filled photopolymers. The baseline FLUX CORE 3D printer is designed for processing viscous particle filled resins where magnetic alignment is not required. The FLUX 3D adds the company’s Fluxprint 3D (3-axis magnetic field) that aligns fiber in any axis throughout parts as they are printed. Applications include heat sinks, heat exchangers, and high-performance industrial connectors.
