IO Link Capacitive Sensor

Rechner Sensors announced that its capacitive sensor KA1590 from the 26 Series now has IO Link technology. Capable of detecting products with a dielectric constant of 1.1, the sensor comes with normally open contact and normally closed contact. ON and OFF delay timing functions are programmable depending on application requirements. The easy teach by wire is guided by the status of the yellow and green LEDs. The sensor operates on 10 – 35 VDC, the housing is IP67 sealed for CIP (Clean in Place) and installation is via sanitary tri-clamp mounting. Its PTFE housing is FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 compliant for use in food and pharmaceutical applications. The sensor has a temperature rating up to 100°C/212°F. Applications include level control for batching of powders liquids, bulk solids and paste-type products.
