Industrial Ethernet Switch

Siemens has expanded its portfolio of rugged network components with the Ruggedcom RSG920P – a high port density Ethernet switch designed to operate in harsh environments. With 20 Gigabit Ethernet ports, the industrial switch features four SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) slots and four Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) interfaces supplying up to 120 watt (30 watt per port) of power. The switch can be mounted directly on a DIN-Rail and includes a Micro SD card slot for storing application data, firmware and device configuration. The Ruggedcom RPS1300 is the companion power supply of the Ruggedcom RSG920P, capable of providing enough power for all 4 Power-over-Ethernet ports simultaneously, even when operating at 30 watt per port.
