G250 right angle gearbox from RAE Corp. has an 80% to 90% efficiency rating.
Bevel gears are said to transmit power from the motor through the gearbox more
efficiently.
This is said to allow higher torque with smaller motors, resulting
in savings of power consumption, weight and overall cost.
