HAWE Hydraulik acquires HOERBIGER

The manufacturer of hydraulic components and systems will thus acquire several legally independent companies at three locations and the associated product range from HOERBIGER Deutschland Holding GmbH effective May 1, 2019. In 2018, the division generated sales of €64 million with approximately 320 employees.

According to the company, the acquisition is an ideal addition to HAWE’s existing product portfolio and thus an expansion of its position as a solution provider. A comprehensive analysis of the market positioning, target markets and potential of the acquired divisions preceded this step, the company says.

HAWE Hydraulik takes over all employees at the existing locations. The customers of HAWE Hydraulik and the former HOERBIGER product lines benefit from the joint competence, the global sales and service network and the significantly expanded product range.

In the 70th year of its existence, this acquisition is an important strategic step for the HAWE Hydraulik Group, the company says, to strengthen its market position as an innovative partner for hydraulic drives and mechatronic controls in more than 70 industries.
