Actuator with integrated servo drive

Harmonic Drive has released its FHA-C Mini Actuator which features an integrated servo drive and produces a rated output torque of up to 50Nm. In addition, the actuator features a high-resolution encoder, advanced control algorithms and multiple communication options, the company says. With zero backlash, the actuator also features dual absolute encoders. The output sensing encoder offers 14bit (16384 cpr) resolution, while the input sensing encoder offers 15bit (32768 cpr) resolution.
