Spin Robotic SD70 and SD35 packages tailored for UR3, UR5, and UR10 cobots.

Electromate Inc. announced it will distribute cobot screwdriving solutions, by Danish accessories manufacturer, Spin Robotics, to the Canadian market. Designed to integrate with Universal Robots’ cobots, Spin’s solutions include end-of-arm tooling for screwdriving, as well as control software.

Specifically, the cobot screwdriving solutions come in two options: Spin’s SD70 and SD35 packages. The SD70 package includes a screwdriving tool and control box, as well as the programming and configuration software for the cobot. The package is designed for use with Universal Robots’ UR3, UR5, and UR10 cobots, and is suitable for a wide range of applications, including assembly, packaging, and material handling.

Similarly, the SD35 package also includes a screwdriving tool, control box, and software, and is designed for use with Universal Robots’ UR3, UR5, and UR10 cobots. The SD35 package, however, is intended for applications that require a more compact and lightweight solution, such as electronics assembly and medical device manufacturing. Both packages also include safety features, such as torque and force monitoring.
