Industrial Ethernet Coupler

Beckhoff Automation introduced its EK18xx EtherCAT Coupler series that integrates 16 EtherCAT digital I/O connection points into a compact 44 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm coupler housing. Four channels are reserved for the supply voltage, leaving up to 12 channels available for digital I/Os that can be configured in different I/O combinations.

The series combines the functionalities of the EK1100 EtherCAT Coupler with standard digital EtherCAT I/Os and can be extended into a full industrial Ethernet I/O system using all EtherCAT Terminals.
