Managed Switch

Rockwell released its Allen-Bradley Stratix 5800 managed industrial Ethernet switch that supports layer 2 access switching, layer 3 routing and ISA/IEC 62443-4-2 network security. Certification to ISA/IEC 62443-4-2 verifies that the switch meets the standard’s technical requirements to security level 2 for industrial automation and control systems. Available in fixed and modular designs, the switch offers combinations of copper, fiber and Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports. The switch runs Cisco’s IOS-XE operating system and accepts Studio 5000 Add-on Profiles to enable integration into the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture.
