Pneumatic Grippers

Festo introduced a new generation of compact pneumatic grippers that includes parallel, angled and radial models. The DHPC parallel gripper offers ≤0.01mm repetition accuracy, while its variants – the DHWC angle and DHRC radial gripper – offer ≤0.2mm accuracy. The DHPC, DHWC and DHRC are interchangeable with competitive grippers, the company says, but feature a smaller size, higher grip force, long service life and improved precision.

The DHPC and its variants offer a number of mounting options and include both T- and C-slots for sensors. The series also offer models with three air supply location options, two extra finger designs and long stroke and dust cover units. The line also features hardened the gripper fingers and positioning pin holes that ensure replacement grippers are mounted in the precise position of the gripper it replaces. Double-acting, single-acting, normally open, and normally closed variants are also available.
