Fluid Power pneumatic sensor transducer

ControlAir Sensors designed for hazardous or industrial environments.

ControlAir Inc. introduced its P200 and P290 pneumatic-to-current P/I transducers, designed to convert standard 3-15, 3-27 or 6-30 psig air pressures into a two wire 4-20 or 10-50 mA signal with a total accuracy up to +/- 0.10 percent.

The explosion-proof P200 provides comes in a NEMA 4X housing designed for the hazardous environments. It’s FM approved and CSA certified as explosion proof for Class I, Div. 1, Groups A, B, C, D; dust ignition-proof for Class II, Div. 1, Groups E, FG; and suitable for Class III, Div. 1 locations. The P200 offers infinite resolution and a response time of 10 m Sec for 99 percent of step change.

The P290 incorporates the same accuracy and reliability as the P200 without the explosion-proof housing. In addition, its modular design allows panel or DIN rail mounting for individual or high density applications. Both transducers require a 10 VDC minimum power supply and provide protection from both conducted and radiated RFI from 20 MHz to 1 GHz.
