Contrinex RFID Read/Write units read tags over IO-Link at ranges up to 78mm.
AutomationDirect has added Contrinex’s RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Read/Write modules that use radio frequencies to read and write data to/from electronic tags. Available in 18mm or 30mm diameters and a 44mm x 44mm cube style, the units communicate at transmission ranges of up to 78mm using the popular IO-Link protocol. RFID tags are available in 9mm, 16mm, 20mm, 30mm and 50mm sizes with user memory from 316 to 2,000 bytes using either EEPROM or FRAM memory. A high-temperature tag model is also available, and all products are IP67 and IP68/69K rated.
