General DPNApril 2009, WOOD DALE, IL - Thomson, A Danaher Motion Company, has available updated online Product Selectors, with new configurations and additional product sizes, for mechanical motion components including linear ball bushing bearings, 60 Case Shafting, RoundRail Linear Guides, Profile Rail Bearings, Ball and Lead Screws, linear actuators, gearheads, precision balls and clutches and brakes. Thomson Product Selectors help users optimize their linear motion system by allowing them to identify their optimal product from thousands of potential choices.
“Product Selectors are attribute-based product search tools for finding Thomson linear motion solutions. Our Product Selectors help users specify the right products for their application based on user input related to key attributes such as brand, torque requirements, maximum speed, line voltage, dimensions, weight, agency ratings, etc., within a smart search environment that never leaves the user with a ‘zero results’ product search,” says Rob Gallagher, Thomson marketing and communications manager.
Additional Product Selectors are also available for Danaher Motion AKM gearmotor product sets, rotary indexer product sets, conventional rotary motors, AC servo drives, direct drive rotary and linear motors, stepper motors and drives, and synchronous motors.
