Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions introduced its RoHS compliant IDEA Size 23 non-captive linear actuator, featuring linear travel per step ranges from 0.000125 inch (0.0031mm) to 0.005 inch (0.127mm) and output force up to 200 lbf (890N).

In addition to full programmability through an graphic user interface, the linear actuator configuration is capable of up to 20 inches of stroke length with a variety of screw pitches. Other features include a single supply voltage of 12 to 75 VDC; 3.85Arms max rated current per phase with a 30 percent boost current capability for ramping; and 8 opto-isolated general purpose I/O. The inputs are rated for 5 to 24 VDC, 4mA max per input. The outputs are open collector, 5 to 24 VDC, 200mA maximum per output.
