3D Freebie: Autodesk releases HSM Express for Inventor to beta

No cost 2.5-axis CAM module integrates into Inventor interface.

Only a few months after acquiring HSMWorks, Autodesk has made Inventor HSM Express available through a free beta test program. Similar in design and functionality with HSMXpress for Solidworks, the 2.5-axis milling and drilling module integrates into the Inventor design environment and is based on the company’s stand-alone CAM software, HSMWorks. As such, it features the same 64-bit, multi-core kernel; 64-bit, multi-core simulation; and 64-bit JavaScript-based post processor system.
