
CAE lands $200 million of orders for training equipment, services

MONTREAL — CAE Inc. has sighed a series of training and equipment contracts worth more than $200 million in total. The value of the individual contracts wasn’t disclosed and only a few customer names were disclosed by the Montreal-based company, which manufacturers full flight simulators and provides training services for commercial and military clients.
One of the contracts announced on Thursday is a new 10-year agreement to provide training for Airbus A350 passenger jets for an unidentified airline group in the Americas.
CAE will also supply an A330 full-flight simulator to an undisclosed customer in Asia and provide simulator updates to a series of customers.
Air Algerie has signed a long-term contract for CAE to train 200 new pilot cadets while Abu Dhabi Aviation has chosen it to supply a Bell 412EP full-flight simulator and training services.
