Corrosion-resistant diaphragm process pumps

General DPN

KNF corrosion-resistant diaphragm process pumps are suitable for sampling, transferring, evacuating, or compressing aggressive gases in a wide range of challenging industrial applications. The electrically operated and oil-free pumps are said to deliver reliable and contamination-free performance and can be customized with a variety of available materials, motor types, and configurations to suit unique specifications.

The process pumps combine high-grade steels and solid PTFE (or other inert materials for the wetted head portion) with a laminated layer of corrosion-resistant material over the diaphragm. Specialized versions of corrosion-resistant process pumps can be developed. These include heated-head and heat-resistant pumps for exhaust emission and stack-gas sampling; pumps with explosion-proof motors for compliance with ATEX and Class 1 Division 1 Groups C and D hazardous locations; pumps with secondary safety diaphragms for an added safeguard in handling rare and dangerous gases; and high-capacity air/gas sampling pumps to meet demanding flow and vacuum requirements.

Depending on type, KNF process pumps can achieve flow rates up to 300 L/min (10 SCFM), maximum vacuums up to 29.8 in. Hg, and maximum pressure up to 176 psig.
