Teledyne e2v Gen2 sensor offers 2.8µm global shutter pixel and up to 67 dB dynamic range.

Teledyne e2v announces Emerald, a CMOS image sensor available in 8.9-Megapixels (4,096 x 2,160) or 12-Megapixels (4,096 x 3,072), in monochrome or color, and in two-speed grades, standard and high. The sensor has a 2.8µm global shutter pixel, designed with Teledyne e2v’s light pipe technology, which provides up to 67 dB dynamic range in 10-bit and 12-bit ADC mode. Compared to the original Emerald family, the Gen2’s matrix is centered in a 21 x 20 mm² Ceramic Land Grid Array (CLGA) package, which fits 1-inch optical formats. It has two types of output, LVDS and MIPI CSI 2 and offers low-noise performance with < 3e- readout noise and increased sensitivity and angular response with dual-light pipe technology. imaging.teledyne-e2v.com
