Basler launched ace 2, the next generation of its ace camera series. The four models in the ace 2 Basic and ace 2 Pro product lines feature Sony’s IMX392 sensor, offer 2.3 megapixels resolution at a frame rate of 51 fps in the GigE version and up to 160 fps with USB 3.0 interface. The ace 2 Basic models are equipped with Sony’s IMX392 sensor, offer 2.3 megapixel resolution The four models of the ace 2 Pro line offer in-camera features including Compression Beyond which compresses image data directly in the camera’s FPGA, in real time and without sacrificing image quality. Pixel Beyond uses an interpolation method to change the pixel size, allowing resolution to scale according to their requirements.
