OES dual-axis stages precisely measures curvature and angles.

OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.) introduced four pitch and roll stages. For each, the pitch axis (lower stage) is a goniometer stage which features preloaded cross roller guides and a 1:296 ratio worm drive with a range of travel of +/- 45 degrees and has a typical accuracy of 0.05 degrees and repeatability of +/- 0.01 degrees. The roll axis (upper stage) is also a goniometer stage wit cross roller guides but with a 1:352 gear ratio worm drive and a range of travel of +/- 10 degrees. This stage has a 65mm x 65mm table and also has a typical accuracy of 0.05 degrees and repeatability of +/- 0.01 degrees. The PR120-45-10-01 (pictured) and the PR120-45-10-04 have optical encoders and are stepper motor driven. The PR120-45-10-02 is driven by three phase servo motors and the PR120-45-10-03 is driven by DC servo motors; and each have quardrature incremental encoders. Each axis features a calibrated scale to visually display the angle of rotation. The maximum speed with stepper motors is 14 degrees/second and 45 degrees/second with servo motors.
