Company says its latest AM machine design for education sector.

3D printer manufacturer, Raise3D, announced it will launch a multi-purpose, industrial-grade 3D printer, the E2, at the TCT 2019 show in Birmingham this week. Designed for the European education market, the printer features a print volume of 330mm x 240mm x 240mm; independent dual extruders; auto bed levelling and a focus on ease of use.

In addition to the hardware, the printer also includes access to RaiseCloud, an integrated 3D print management ecosystem (currently in Beta version); RaiseFactory, a desktop-based turnkey solution for manufacturers; and the Open Filament Program.

“Having a competitive product for Education is always an important contribution to long-term success,” said Raise3D’s general manager for Europe, Diogo Quental. “The Pro2 series is currently a best choice for manufacturing, and its approval by manufacturers is higher than ever before, but it is hard to combine with the requirements of education, where, for example, a smaller printer would be easier to handle.” He added, “with E2, we can be competitive also in this strategic sector, while at the same time improving our preparation for the future”.
